Intends to provide protection for the women under the Domestic violence Act 2005 (PWDV ACT 2005). It provides shelter advocacy, emergency shelter supportive counselling and information & referral services for women who are victims of domestic violence. It is the first domestic violence victim shelter home in Trivandrum, Kerala commenced its operations on 21st January 2015 with support from Kerala State Social Welfare Board.
The programme operates with the Objectives to create a Transgender friendly society and protect their rights for a decent living in the state. It ensures a cost effective and sustainable legal aid program for the Transgender community. The project is being implemented with the partnership with KELSA (Kerala Legal Services Authority), Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS), Voluntary Health Services (VHS) and NGOs/CBOs Of Transgender people.
The Dale View has started free ambulance service in 2011, around 5000 peoples are benefited from this service.
We also provide free ambulance service for the sick.
Sandhwanam is a welfare project to support patients who need continues medical aid for their living. Through this programme, medical aid is given to patients, medical aid is given to patients who undergo dialysis, who is suffering from cancer, cardiac issues etc. Dale view conducts fund raising events like food festivals, exhibition come sale etc… to raise fund for the purpose.We also supply water beds, wheel chairs, hearing aids etc for bed ridden people and also for those who are in need for their aids.
Since inception Dale View has supported more than 1000 families to construct houses and to have proper sanitation facilities. There are families, still in Kerala, who doesn’t have proper shelter and is ignored by local authorities due to various criteria put forward by the government. Dale View initiates and coordinates philanthropists and interested donor for the particular cause and help the beneficiaries to have safe shelter. This year we supported 5 families to have safe shelter under savitham project.
