The Daleview Care Point is a 100 beded Addiction treatment unit expertise in the treatment of substance use disorders and its comorbidities associated with it.Our multidisciplinary team comprised of Psychiatrists,Physician,Counsellors, Nurses and Administrative staffs. We are following Universal Treatment Curriculum. We are licensed by Mental Health Authority,Govt.of Kerala.
DALEVIEW CARE POINTFocuses on TG community in Trivandrum district with an aim to prevent HIV through behaviour Change Communication, Counselling and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections, issuing free condoms and linking them to HIV testing, care and support services. We also catalyse community mobilisation, ownership building through stakeholder participation. TG Suraksha project has been successful in reducing stigma and discrimination against TG.
The Dale View has set up a Counselling Centre for follow-up and rehabilitation of Alcohol/Drug addicts and their families since 1992 onwards. At present the centre is offering free counselling as well as psychological support for adolescents youth and families troubled by various issues.
We are promoting Community Based Health Education Programme, giving importance to promotive and preventive aspects of health from 1982 onwards. We organise awareness classes/Medical camps on various Schools, Colleges, Villages and Residents associations SHGs, SPCs etc.
HIV Zero surveillance centre for transgenders in Dale View under kerala state social welfare board is started in october 2018. The first and is the pilot study about TGs by KSSWB. The Aim is to eradicate HIV from TGs and provide good atmosphere in their daily needs. In this projects mainly gives the clinical services for TGs in Trivandrum District.
It is functioning in The Dale View campus providing outpatient treatment services to the locals.
